Default how much is "safe" to spray on 11.5 comp.

new engine (lt1) will have almost 11.5 comp with forged srp's. Was thinking of a 200 wet shot (maybe tnt f1, or somthing from nitro dave). Also what is a good stall and gear for that shot.

combo:
le3 heads/cam kit
42# injectors (bigger?)
stock crank and rods
forged .040 srp's
impala head gaskets
th350 w/brake and 3.73's
3500 or 4k stall

Any opinions will be helpful i want to try to do it right the first time.
thanks.

42 would be fine...go wit a wet shot, and you wont need any bigger injectors...200 on srp should be fine...the stock rods wont be though...the crank will be at its limit...

I would worry about the stock rods

With good rods I would not be afraid to hit it with 200 or more

I am running Eagle forged Crank and H-beam 6" rods, Ross pistons.
Currently at 12.2:1 CR and going to hit it with at least 250hp

as stated before the rods/crank will be the weak point....but if you make sure the tune/set up is dead on, and the fuel system can keep up, it should be fine.

To get the best information on what a certain piston will handle...it is best to call the manufactuer....the SRP are the budget forged pistons by JE...I think the should handle 2-250.

Like most engine components they are rated for a HP level...If you put them in a stock LT1 they will take more than if you have a AFR headed, solid roller, stroker.
