The search wasn't working, so I figured I'd just ask here ...

I have heard that nitrous many times will not be too effective if the bottle pressure isn't correct. Is there a way to make sure you get 100% of the performance from nitrous all of the time? Also, how big of a difference would there be if I was spraying from say 3000rpm to 6000 rpm from 2nd gear on? I have a stock 39k ls1 / a4 / 10 bolt and don't want to make it all go kaboom! Should a 100 shot still drop me a second with traction?

 

you should drop approx 1 sec from a 13 sec car

 

really - even if just spraying from 3k to 6k from second gear on?? Sounds good to me! What if I would be running low 12's already?

 

if you already run low 12's...spraying from in 2nd and 3rd only will net mid 11's....with a good tire there is no reason for you noy yo spray in first.....nothing gets you off the line like nitrous

 

my only concern is the stock 10 bolt and stock a4 - that is why I figured I would spray from 2nd gear only
