What kind of material are they made from?

 

Good question, and if I may, I'd like to expand it a bit... why is NX's bottle blanket four times the price of NOS's and DynoTune's? What more has NX done, or what material are they using, that NOS and DynoTune aren't?

 

NX's is not a blanket, it is a jacket.
The material is a balistic nylon. completely wraps the bottle and is roughly .750 thick.
there are mutli layers of insulating material, that we do not have to worry about melting with a good heater in use. the jacket insulates from the out side temps, hot or cold.

I do not know about Dynotunes blanket.
The nos one to me at best is a wind breaker or tint that just sits over the top of the bottle.

We carry the NX blankets, and they are the best out there.
For the price wtachers, I run these and they work fine. I added a slip belt to help blanket fit a little tighter on bottom.

Nothing on the market compares to the NX bottle Blanket. All the others on the market are more for looks in my opinion. If you are buying a blanket to do what it is really intended for the NX one is the way to go.Its like comparing a sheet to a quilt.

One thing I forgot to mention, our Nitorus Direct Blankets are double quilted, and believe you me they work to keep the heat in (and out), maybe not as good as NX, but better than the others standard types on the market. Price is great also.
