Troubleshooting
I finally got around to installing my nitrous kit on my car this week. As the car sat, it was at 32 degrees timing (mods in sig), and i sprayed a 100 shot. The first two times I sprayed was with my tuner and the car did fine. Then the next couple days, I sprayed about 5 or 6 other times and the car still did fine. It sat overnight, then the next morning, I started it, let it idle for a few minutes, then took off. About a mile down the road, it started surging and then the idle just dropped off and it died. Then the car would start back up and die again. It will start everytime, but wont stay idling. I can tap the throttle or barely hold it open and keep it running, but when i go to neutral or sit at a stop in gear, it dies. Never had this problem before the nitrous, didnt do it when i was spraying, never missed a beat after any of the spraying and then just driving. Just out of nowhere, it started. My tuner thinks I may have fouled my plugs, but I am running NGK TR6's gapped at 35. Anybody else ever had this problem??
Thanks, I will check that out. It is a wet kit. I drove the car to work today which is a 40 mile round trip, maybe more, and the car did fine. The only thing i did to it before i drove it was I noticed the relay for the nitrous solenoids looked like it was coming apart and not making a good connection so I pushed it back together and made sure it had a good conection. The car has been fine all day today. It may have just been a freak occurrance.
