Default Switches in the TCS plate

Swapped in a 00 Firebird console, Ordered the TCS trim plate minus the switches for a convertible with TCS, so its like the normal TCS plate wth two openings for switches, one of course being TCS the other being the convertible top switch. Was planning to run my nitrous switches in these opening, so does any one have any pictures of after market switches in place of the factory switches? I would like to get some ideas for my install, thanks.

This was a expierment

There is not a whole lot of real estate to work with on those console insert, and to do what I tried you pretty much destroy the TCS switch insert.

So a Convertible with TCS has two switch holes in that insert? Thats even harder to work with

Here is what i would try...for a three switch (using what you got), you could sandwich the rockers with laminate behind and in front of the factory insert (switches inside the stock openings...) then just drill out 1/2" hole for the purge.

If you don't have TCS or a Top switch just use a blank off plate Something like this out of Aluminum or laminate.

thanks for the pics, I was hoping to stick aftermarket switches in to the factory openings since I didnt order the factory switches with the plate, just the plate it self.
