Default new best on gas

got a new best on motor and spray.

NA
60 ---- 1.865
330 --- 5.397
1/8 --- 8.279
mph -- 84.91
1000 - 10.810
1/4 --- 12.939 (new best)
mph -- 105.52

N2O
60 ---- 1.707 (new best)
330 --- 4.743
1/8 --- 7.255
mph -- 97.51
1000 - 9.435
1/4 -- 11.262 (new best)
mph - 122.78

the nitrous run was only on the big kit set to about 175 ish. i had a run before this one and the car fell over on the 100dry/150wet by the 1/8 mile. didn't have time to look at the FP as i was busy shutting it down. on the 175 single stage, the pressure never dropped below 50 psi. and this is with a walbro 255lph intank.

i'll tell you i had nothing more than an intank 255 and i had big time pump voltage issues.. you may want to look into dedicated wiring to the pump.. they have the whole kit in jegs for 35 bucks

yeah, that's what i'm thinking. or maybe the MAF freaked out on the dry kit. because on the dual stage, the car nosed over hard. on the single stage, no problems.

it was weird.. i could make a pass with no problem.. then the next run leaner then it would bounce back.. the wiring took care of all that ****.. well and a 2nd intank

Congrats on the new best, all your hard work is starting to pay off. It sounds to me like a fuel starvation issue. If it didn't fall on it's face intially, then sounds like the dry was fine until the added requirement of the wet? Having only 50psi, tells the whole story, fuel system ie: hot wire that bitch, and/or reg and return at the rails. I run the same pump and my system stays rock steady at 250rwhp shot (with hot wire and reg/return). Were you able to log your run? Anyway, your getting it sorted out, and it's just a matter of time until you join the stock longblock 10 sec club. I don't remember if I told ya, my 10.8 run is the current World Record for stock longblock ls6/m12 with any power adder, turbo(s), blowers and wet or dry spray.
Once again, congrats, and keep at it.
Robert

the one in the pink is the wife's car. i have a banner for my black car, just everyone knows me from the pink banner. hate to change it now. here's mine.

robert, unfortunately no. i did not log the run. the car was fine until right before the 1/8 mile. then it fell over hard. i was more interested in turning off everything instead of looking at the pressure gauge at the time. but, from the moment after i shut everything off, the gauge said 50 psi as well. so, i can't gaurantee that reading.

Nice Times there.

I'm curious to know why it nosed over on the wet/dry shot. Sure does sound like a fuel problem though. Hope you get it worked out. I bet the track is open all year for you guys right?

This thread reminds me to get a battery for the laptop.
