N2Odyno graph ?
N2O dyno graph ? can someone tell me what the hell is goin on here ? HP falls off but Torque stays consistant, squiggly lines at the start is wheel spin..thanx

Hummm... Are we sure we are not just reading them backwards, as they both peak in the same spot? Furthermore, it looks as if the torque typing at top of page is slightly darker indicating black line?

any insight to the ultra jagged graph ? bottle pressure was 1175 psi at the start of the run (usually keep it right at 1000 psi, but my heater freaked out on me), so that's part of the reason for the lean spike i think...NGK TR6 plugs factory gapped...thanx

85hp and 324tq on a 150 shot, not sure on this one? Usually when you have an abnormally high torque to hp it will show running real rich. This must be an old dyno?
If it was set up more like below, relative (torque/hp) to each other, then you could read some things better, like power under the curve? dyno crapped out, but you can see at 5200rpm where the hp takes over the torque.
Maybe post this in the dyno section, as there are guys around that do this for a living.

not an old dyno but not sure how "new" it is, i think the torque reading was a spike from tire spin and he usually sets smoothing to 5 before handing out results, i dont see things bein any different this time...guess i'll have to wait till spring and try it again...by the way, this is a Cold Fusion wet kit with an NX Shark nozzle runnin NX jettin for the nozzle 62/33
the calculation isn't off. i guess no one saw the dual graph scales. left side is hp (top line 550) right side is tq (top line 800).
my guess is when it went lean, the motor knocked and pulled timing.

Its not so much the lines actually cross at 5252...its that Tq=Hp at 5252. if you look at both tq and hp at 5252 they are equal as they should be. Dyno software will scale each side (tq and hp) so the graph fits on the page better. If the tq on one side of the graph is not the same level as the hp on the other side....the lines will cross at a different rpm...even though tq still = hp at 5252.
As for the massive Tq spike and rapid falloff...seems excessive.
If I where you...I would richen up the fuel jet a bit....tighten your plug gap quite a bit...and give it another shot. With 700+ rwtq I would definately try to pull some timing as well. I would guess there is some detonation going on at 700+ rwtq on full timing with pump gas. I think detonation is the surging you see in the first part of the graph.
Hell..you may have toasted some plugs. id pull em and check em.
What plugs are in there and what gap?
