Default Spark plug question

I need some help...I'm using a pre MAF dry set up on a Mercedes 550 engine...one problem I have is the spark plugs....only available in platinum but gapped at .031....my question is what can I do ... My AFR's are less than 12 and I'm running 102 unleaded with an 80 shot ANY suggestions ....please resond....thanks

i dont think you have anything to worry about only runnin an 80 shot

If your refering to the Platinum as being a bad choice, its not the greatest, but nothing to worry about. However, the factory LSx plugs with Platinum "disk tips" are to worry about. The increased cylinder pressure tends to blow the disk off, increasing the gap, and reducing the plugs efficiency. GL.
