We call it a jacket because it wraps the bottle completely. We use a balistic nylon that is very thick and many layers. There are 5 velco straps that hold the Jacket in place. We completely cover the bottle, and the insulating properties of the material, will help any heater, heat the bottle up faster.
In the summer it keeps the heat away from your bottle.

^^^ what he said. the NX blanket is like a real "jacket" for the bottle, all others i have ever seen were more like a "wind breaker"

hey dave any chance this will work with the HSW billet bottle bracket

or if i decide to keep my stock mounts will it fit insde the mounts or does it have to be taken on and off every time you fill the bottle

It will fasten arount the bracket and bottle.
That should be fine.

hmmm,
Im not sure. I called for some advice from 860 and NX.

We all have the same thoughts on this. The bottle heater will get about 120 to 130 degrees with the bottle mounted in it. This should not affect the bottle blanket at all. However to be safe you could just not use the two straps that go under the unit.
