Default Looking at a 150 shot

Ok, i actually did read the sticky. so please, nobody yell at me. My question is not what the motor can handle, its what can the fuel system handle? wet/dry, what seems to work well on these cars? I had a zex wet 100 shot on my mustang GT. Are most people going wet with the LS1s? I saw that zex has a new high output kit from 100-250 wet shot that I thought was interesting (however, i was thinking about going NX this time around... but the safety switches do grab my attention)

anyways, to run a 150 shot SAFELY, will I need an aftermarket fuel pump for a wet kit / fuel pump and injectors for a dry, or will it be basically plug and play?

Im also a little concerned about the rear end (u guys have thouroughly scared the bajeezus out of me in that regard) but I think as long as I keep it on the street with street tires that traction will be my weakest point, and not the rear end.

so, to break it down, id like to know about the fuel system capabilities, and whether the zex kit is still a smarter investment, or if I should just suck it up and stop being a pansy and go NX.
thanks

I would definatly go nx. I did a 150 shot on bolt ons with just a better fuel pump. Make sure you dont have platinum plugs in it also. Use ngk tr6's as a good plug.

i think when you get to around 400-450 at the wheels is when you need to think about fuel. i have the mods in my sig and i am spraying 150. i'll be doing a racetronix pump and a standalone in the spring though.

I wouldn't even worry about more than about a 100 shot if you're gonna run street tires. You'll be all over the road on anything less than a 65mph roll. You'll be one of those guys sprayin at the track and running the same ET as on motor with 15 extra mph in trap speed, lol.

I would say NX all the way, Very good kit/performance. I would say that you need a fuel pump, but if you can't afford it right now make sure that you get the FPSS and you should be fine, if fuel pressure drops it'll shut the kit off.

So in a nutshell, NX + FPSS = ZEX right?

ive also noticed that power gains through zex seem lower, but nitrous is nitrous, so it must just be how they rate them, so would it be safe to assume zex200=NX150?

and also, would you guys just recommend an inline fuel pump, or what do most of you guys go with?

For 150 I didnt need a fuel pump.. for a 200 shot for sure.. a fuel press switch will save your car IF fuel press drop.. . I've been spraying 150 since long time ago. I also didnt get a window switch and the tranny is pretty stong still.
I got the MAF kit from Nitrous Express part # 20109-10 if that helps
