Default Alternative to remote bottle openers

I was wondering if it would be possible/feasible to mount the bottle in the trunk, run a nitrous line to somewhere up front (say the center console) and have a manual **** in there to open/close the bottle. I like the idea of remote bottle openers but they're pricey. Would any added stress/damage be put on the bottle by having the valve opened at the bottle but closed somewhere further down the line?

This way I could have a clean looking interior and the convenience of being able to open the bottle without poping the trunk.

It wouldn't harm the bottle, though odds are your connections after the bottle aren't going to be perfectly sealed, so you'll leak nitrous out over time.

NOS sells a on/off T valve that can be mounted inline anywhere in the car.

Sure, it's been done before. Then just bubble spray your connections to make sure there is no seepage.

What would that entail? Just a quick purge?
I wasnt expecting that on/off valve to be that expensive lol, they're selling em for near $100. Thats half of a remote bottle opener right there. Any other companies selling hi flow on/off T valves for cheaper?

Go to any Hydraulics supply houses and get what ya need for 1/3 of the cost. You can even have ends put on your existing house where you want to split into.

Ive done it before...It works fine if you use the nitrous. It will most definitly leak out over time as none of the seals are bubble tight. It would take a few weeks for it to leak out...Just use it up

Haha nice. I was planning on shutting it off at the bottle when the car sits overnight or for any long periods of time. I just thought that it would be nice to have an accessible way to open/close the line so that the system is ready when I need it but not putting constant pressure on the solenoid.
