Default Safe for me to spray? Advice Needed!!

This year I just rebuilt my bottom end while I was doing my heads and cam swap. I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea since it had 97k on it to begin with. The rebuild is basically a stock one, reusing my stock crank, stock rods, and I used forged pistons this time instead. My question is, with an LT1 that will probably be making upwards of 375+ hp NA already, is it safe to hit it with a 125 wet shot like I planned? I will most likely be using HSW since they are only about an hour and a half away from me.

Nitrous gurus chime in, I'm just starting to learn about all of this.

I'm kind of a nitrous newbie but I say it should be fine. I wouldn't spray a modified engine without an upgraded fuel pump. If yours has been tuned you will need to pull some timing.

So buy a fuel pump and pull some timing if it's tuned!

Why didn't you upgrade the rods? Seems like little money now would of addressed all the shortblock weak points.

I should have, but at the time I was running out of money. The guys that built my motor tested the rods and told me they were in great shape. Everything above I have already figured in!

Ed, you can put an inline pump under the car pretty simple.
125hp should not be a problem.
Just start at 100hp and work your way up.

Cheers
