You might need to get a high stall converter depending on what cam you buy .

When ordering a cam , see what the manufacture says about matching the cam to the torque converters .

a good pick for a stall is generally 3600, im personally going to get a ss3600 yank. stalls pretty high, but not so high you'll blow through the power band on the nitrous. always stall before cam

TR224 on a 114LSA or if you can custom get it 115 or 116LSA. Wider LSA builds more cylinder pressure, more effective nitrous use. Good street cam, rather small in the LSx world of cams though. Stall for that I found to be good from experience, not any of the guessing **** is Yank 3000, their basic converter, it worked very well with that cam and up to 175shot.

For TC rec's, please do yourself a favor and call and talk with sales techs from TCI, Yank, Vig, etc. all should advise you similarly, but get one you feel comfortable with. TCI 3500 was an awesome TC in my friends SS, same TR224 cam and nitrous as well.
