Default a/c plug question-bottle heater

does anyone have an accessory powered by the cig lighter? ive got my dynotune bottle heater hooked up to the one closest to the center shifter, and it keeps popping the fuse in the fuse box. does this happen to anyone else?

who has wired a bottle warmer to the rear hatch defroster, inline fuse with a 30 amp fuse ok? any one have a write up on this and or pics?

A friend of mine wired his heater to his defrost, and it seemed to work just fine. It didn't blow fuses.

If your lighter plug is like the vette (the second one in our consoles) it's only designed for amp loads like cell phones and the like. Ours won't except a lighter at all, you can't even push in the lighter part. I found this out as a smoker and installing a sw panel in ash tray area, and lost use of regular lighter. So, I thought well I can just use the acc lighter bung, not. I even looked at the wiring and it's much smaller gauge, so fuse is smaller for light amp loads.
