Default Feedline clearance to header?

How much room should there be between the main feedline and a header? I'm trying to plan out how I'm going to run the line, and where I was going to come up through the engine bay on the passanger side, there's not alot of open space between the inner fender and the header. There'd probably be only around 1" of seperation between the line and the header. Will this cause any problems, from the line absorbing too much heat from the header?

Never. I would find another way.

If no other choice, I quess I would double wrap the area.
Good luck, be safe.

Alright so sounds like not the best idea, which I kind of figured.

02NBMWS6, did you run the line outside the cabin? Or did you run it inside and go through the firewall?

I want to run it externally for safety's sake, but I'm not sure how to get it into the engine bay without running near the headers. I'll have to get under and look around again, see if I can find another path to route it.

The high heat from headers can/will turn the nitrous into vapor rather than the liquid it should be. However, you can purge line to eliminte this. Any way, I allways stay a few inches away and then wrap with a heat guard.
