Default Popping On Nitrous

ok as soon as i hit the nitrous shot(wich is a DP progressively controlled 380 shot that starts at 50%) it starts popping for maybe like a half of a second. the a/f drops to 9.7 or so and then goes up to 10.5 and takes off like a raped ape but it only happens when i first hit it.
anybody have any thoughts?

thanks

Ok so it starts off at the 9.7 and then leans to the 10.5 correct.. Howdoes the airfuel curve look NA. Is it flat?

You need to get the airfuel to about 11.5 to 11.8 on the juice..
I would start with making sure the nitrous solenoids are firing and that there is not flow restriction. If all is good start by going to a 16 fuel jet.

If you have a dedicated after you make the jet change and get close on the airfuel you can adjust the rest with fuel pressure.

I am at home and do not have my jetting cards with me to double check jetting for you.
Thanks

Yes, If you cahnge your NA tune it is going to change your Nitrous Tune. I suggest getting your NA tune right before continueing trying to tune the nitrous. Other wise you will be fighting a loosing battle. Give this guy a call. He is very helpful. Tell him I told you to call. He tunes at our shop and this is his cell number. 254-644-2656. His name is Moe Bailey.
