Default Winter Maintance for Nitrous system

What do I need to check before I store my car for the winter? Plungers? Lines? Obviously I plan to remove the bottle and store it inside, but outside that what?

Aren't you a little late? Most cars are coming out of winter storage. Our tracks open in less than a month, and that's up north. Anyway, a long storage the only concern might be the fuel in the fuel noid swelling the plunger? other than that no worries.

Robert! What are you thinking! I put my car away in November and it hasn't even snowed here yet!

I live in Northern Ohio so we still have a couple of months of cold weather and probably snow ahead

I don't know the exact date, but I know Norwalk Raceway Park doesn't open for awhile still. (its 5 minutes from my house )

I didn't do anything special for my nitrous system, I just took the bottle out and keep it inside. Of course, this is my first winter with juice, so maybe i'm doing something wrong. I'm not worried

I wished I lived in Texas.

Yea, I suppose the Mid West up north still has a ways to go. I lived in Neb for awhile, now I remember the winters...

Racing all year round here.... However our summers are nasty and humid unlike up north.

As far as putting it up for the winter. Just remove the bottle and tape off the nitrous feed line so not trash or dust can get in there. When you bring the car back out test the system before using.

I don't see any reason to take the bottle out? I've allways left mine in year around. What's the diff if it's sitting in the car or sitting in the garage? Am I missing something?

No not really. Just a habit for me....If the car is staying inside a garage I would leave the bottle in as lomg as you do not forget about it when it starts getting hot out side.

I'm about to get my clutch fixed. Then the nitrous system is going to be checked and fine tuned.

I got some gauges coming so I can hook them up to help me fine tune the kit. Other than ensuring the kit runs safe, you should be okay.

Hey Robert, once I get my car up and running again, we need to plan our first track day. I don't think I can get time off work like I did last year. I got too much going on at the moment.
