Default Wideband?

What is this Wideband that people are referring to? In regards to the a/f ratio?

A wideband is a gauge that measures Air/Fuel ratio, it uses a O2 sensor that senses a "Wider" range more accurately than the factory "narrow" band sensors.

It is a air/fuel meter system. Wideband is more accurate. Here is a link to my favorite & the one I plan on running. Its not the most expensive or optioned out version, but its still a wideband & will work for my simple needs perfectly.
