Default Need help with VCN 1000

Hello everyone im trying to install a VCN 1000 on my vette the part thats gtting me is how the instructions say to connect the injector pulsating wire to the negative wire of the injector. I stuck the tester to both wires and they bot read 12 volts? Wtf I thought the ground had no voltage any idea whats going on?

Car off.....disconnect the injector plug. Put the multimeter to read ohms. ground the other end of your meter. Check each lead on removed injector harness... One lead on the injector harness will read very low ohms....meaning there is good continuity between that lead and that ground. Thats the ground.

The hotwire should be open.

sounds like your .5 ohms is the ground. Thats low resistance..meaing you have a decent ground through that wire.

The other one is open...or OL is what most meters read. Meaning there is no connection from that wire to any ground.

Is this the venom dry kit? i didn't know they still existed. If so i hear they work a lot better with the nozzle placed before the maf.
