Homemade dry setup??? I have a 97 C5 A4 3.15 axle Coupe and I'm putting together a dry system. My plan is to use NOS system parts I have left over from a snowmobile system. My plan is to use 2 NOS foggers (block off the fuel inlets) and shoot onto the rubber inlet boot from each side. That should give me a good coverage shot over the MAF and puts the foggers about 3 inches from the MAF body. I removed the MAF screen. I have a large assortment of funnel jets from .018 to .030. The snowmobile system uses the funnel jets and small diameter nylon tubing from the solenoid to the foggers.The nitrous solenoid is the small super powershot style. I plan on using a window switch and the usual other safety items normally found in a kit. I'm mounting a 10 lb bottle in the rear of the car.All the feed lines from the bottle to the solenoid is standard -4. Any thought on the basic ideas? Any advice on what size jets will give me a 50,75 and 100 shot? Not looking for a major HP setup, just something to get me safely into the 12's. The car is otherwise bone stock.Thanks-Chuck.
Sounds good, and will work fine. The dual .030's will be a 85hp hit at the crank, or about 72rwhp. If you have a numbered drill set you can up size your jets by just drilling them out. Check out my personal web site for some pics on nozzle locations for insight.
