Default Guesstimate my time.....

This is just a feeler for what YOU guys think I may run in the 1/4.

Built 347 Jackson shortblock
236/238 cam
Ported and polished heads
Hooker LT
LS6 intake w/250 shot direct port w/stand alone system
Ported and polished TB
CPT pro race tranny w/4000 stall
stock 10 bolt 342
no interior, A/C, or front and rear bumper supports.

Now I was thinkn since I sold my 9inch to have a 1st gear lock out to try and salvage my rear....so lets say I am just spraying all 250 shot in 2nd and 3rd.

Your converter might not work to well on a shot that big. I would say 10.0-10.5@125-130MPH

Rear and tranny will both break ... and maybe the jackson motor too

if your going to re use that same standalone system then good luck but the rear,tranny and motor will all break at some piont and maybe all at once. there has been only 1 jackson ls1 out of at least 5 we know about to be able to withstand any nitrous and since you dont have that same motor the odds are definately stacked against you, but my estimated guess would be around a high to mid 10 second pass before the breakage

You'll run 10's or break something and cry home... I've got $10 that says the rear breaks....what tires?

What converter would you recommend then?

And thanks GB crew for your answers......I am basically looking to put this motor and everything back together so I can sell it. And maybe race it once or twice more before I do sell it. I was just seeing what #'ers would be reachable with this set-up. It's like I want to race it but after reading what you just said I really don't want to now.....lol

I would say keep the converter and just jet down the N2O and still get some 10's.

Chris I don't think I am going to even spray it, since I bought the RX7 I am just putting everything on the TA back together and selling it.
