zex wet kit my brother has a zex wet nitrous kit with a 125 shot along with a red arming switch and a silver switch underneath mounted inside the car on a 98 trans am ls1, and he would like to know if you can spray the car yourself at WOT or does the system only spray itself at WOT, and is a window switch necessary. He knows that it is recommended to only spray above 2500RPM.

If it's the same as mine, it has a wide open throttle switch built in. If he didn't have a window switch, the system would spray as soon as he hit WOT when it is armed (Not a good thing if you're below 2500 RPMs). Suggest he just spring for the switch. It's a lot cheaper than a new engine.

This is honestly where i'm confused myself. Do I need to buy a window switch if the ZEX (82026) unit only allows the N2O to fire once you've reached WOT?
If i'm mistaken please correct me cuz the way I'm see'n it ......I don't think I nessisarily need one then.

P.S.... If anyone has any photos of a ZEX (82026) "Wet" on their LS F-Body I'd love to see what it would look like.

It is true that it will only fire at wot.
But if you have the stock stall, chances are better the even that when your foot goes all the way to the floor, your rpm's will probably be around 1800-2200.
that could be bad.
Now if you have a stall, 3000 on up, you won't be at full throttle untill your in what's considered the safe rpm zone.
BUT......
Say you bust a u-joint,.........WHAM!!!!! you just pegged the rev limiter.
That too could be bad.Window switch is just a little bit of piece of mind.
