It has to see light for a while to take a charge. If it was in the trunk all day you could place it in the headlights for a second or two and charge it up.

cool looking gauge

I need to get one for my bottle since mine didnt come with one for some reason (I think they offered gauges like a yr after this bottle was made). You can count on me buying one sometime this year
