Get a "timing tuner". I run one and its one of the best ways since it allows you to run optimal timing NA and pull some timing on spray.

Agree, do it with electronics, I don't like running around with timing out.

You can run stock timing on a 150 shot. If your gonna pull though just do 2-3 degrees. Is your fuel system up to par? If its not, pulling timing aint gonna help any really. Lean = Boom

iunno brad, some ppl get lucky and are able to get by running stock timing on a 150 shot, but for me i ended up burning plugs on stock timing at 150. so results will vary from person to person

you may have just been too lean. I ran 150 on stock timing for a long time, never had a problem, TR6 plugs. Most kits are designed run up to 150 with stock timing.

I know I'm old and was taught how to set up my tune up many years ago.
Adding N2O changes the way the flame travels and you actually want some retard to make peak power & efficiency. The same as a 800 HP NA engine is ~34-40 degrees and a 1500 HP NA engine is ~22-28 degrees. But what do I know.

Be safe & careful.
