The black lines we use should not crack. It is a teflon inner liner, with kevlar mesh weave, and a vinyl jacketing. The lines working pressure is over 20,000 psi.
The standalone is a very good idea, but the NXL rails would have to be modified for that work. We pull the fuel from the rail for the system, so a plug is going to be needed. And the you will have to drill another hole to get the new fuel supply into the fuel solenoid.
In the kit there should have been a small instruction sheet showing how to put the lines together. It is really easy, simular to a plastic water line for an ice make. It use a compression fitting/nut and farrel to crush the hose onto the barbs of the hose insert. Feel free to contact us any time, if you need any help.

Ricky, thanks for info. i really appreciate it! As was discussed earlier, someone was stating that since the fuel rails flow at a higher psi, that the 120 shots could easily get clogged w/out a standalone? could a fuel accumulator get me by? and do you happen to know how much the hardlines cost for this kit?

Hard line is 5.00 per foot and the sleeves are 3.00 ea. you will need 32 sleeves, footage you will need to look at how you want to run your line. NOW, running hardline will introduce a large volume needed to fill before achieving pressure.

A wideband on a performance car should never be viewed as "overkill." Just because you are not data logging doesn't mean you could still get valuable info realtime on a gage that could help you keep tabs on the performance of your system/ car.

i agree.. was just asking. wow im going to be spending some serious $$$$ on gauges..
edit: hell im going to be spending a grip on this whole setup.. but hopefully i will have a safe system that will put down some pretty nice numbers/times!

A good tuner can help you with that falling on its face problem !!! I had the same issue with a 150 shot even with my racetronic kit in the rear it spiked lean as soon as it hit the window switch and we got it fixed with some great tunning from HWT!!
