Default Purge line size?

Quick question. I got an Edelbrock purge kit for the DD which comes with 1/8" poly tubing. When I purge I don't see a big white cloud like I see on some other cars. Is the line too small to produce the big cloud? Also, when I tried it, bottle pressure was around 700 if that matters.

The bottle pressure is huge factor. Get the pressure up to 950 or so and try it.
Also the orfice size in the solenoid and purge tube will factor in how big the purge plumb is.
To give you an idea. Our standard purge solenoid is a 063 orfice with 3/16 tubing.

Our BIG SHOW is a 116 orfice with 1/4 tubing..

Yep that did it. I heated the bottle up to 900 and VOILA....big white cloud! I also installed a tee right off the solenoid and ran 2 lines. 2 clouds are better than one! Thanks Dave!
