ok im new to the modding world, and a buddy has a zex nitrous system he is wanting to sell, he needs money and i feel like being a friend and helping out....i was always against nitrous bc i thought it was the devil, all the videos i used to see was backfiring and **** i was like no way will i ever... but anyways, i wanna try it out, i have an 02 z28 a4 with 90k miles.... what would be the highest hp shot that will be safe on this motor? sorry for the lack of knowledge, i learn new **** on this site everyday, time ti experiment with nitrous... thanks guys

 

Well, as long as your motor is in good running shape & your fuel system is up to par, a 100 shot will be fine. Just get some colder plugs first.

Also make sure the kit will work on a LS1. You don't wanna start piecing it together to make it work.

 

As long as you don't have any internal motor mods then you should be fine with a 100shot. Just like big mike said you will need to go to a colder spark plug ( NGK TR6's Stock #4177 ).

You are making a big mistake, don't do it... Nitrous is the devil you can never get enough!!

 

Yes like was stated a 100hp shot is a cake walk. Then later when your ready, you could even increase the hp amount and safely. Just get it tuned for a/f, knock retard, and inj DC if going dry, for ultimate safety. Spray away, you'll love it, and nitrous is safer than it's ever been. Also, use all the safety add-ons.
