Default N20 Timing

How are you guys retarding your timing for 150 shots, or what is the max power shot I can run w/0 retarding?

Timing tuner for most people. There are other ways though such as IAT resistor switching in combination with tuning IAT tables.

To stay safe dont run over 150 with stock timing.

150 is safe with stock timing, so If i have heads and cam and have advanced the timing a little then I need to retardt the timeing a lil more?

Since youre advanced already get a timing tuner and pull a few degrees.

If you just want to pull timing when spraying youre gonna have to get a timing tuner, that is the easiest thing to do.

The other way involves wiring a resistor in with the IAT and your arming switch and you then have to mess with the IAT tables in the tune.

are you running a dry shot or a wet if its a dry shot use the iat sensor chart when it gets down below -10 degrees F or something pull the timing out that way you have full timing when driving around n/a

That method has work well for me,... I wouldn't think of buying a timing tuner now.

Yeah but that way you would have to point the nozzle at the IAT rather than at the MAF.

If you're running a dry shot, and have Hptuners or EFilive, check out Robert56's "how to pull timing". Works great and pretty easy to do.

I could Post a REAL simple schematic of the resistor mod after I get off work.

Or if your running a dry hit, you can do it in HP Tuner, and it will only pull when spraying. Has no effect on n/a timing. Write up in my personel web. EfI live also has a valet mod for pulling timing for wet or dry hits.
