Default quick question about spraying with my cam

i have a 224 112+4 cam. is that alright to spray on or should i get another cam. any help would be great. thanks

thank you! with my mods what kind of timing would have to be pulled for say a 100 wet shot

Conventional wisdom states that 2 degrees should be pulled per 50hp of nitrous. So, for a 100 shot about, 4 degrees of retard would be advised.

Actually you dont have to pull any timing up to at least a 100 shot and have seen and personally ran my car with a 125 and no timing. The computer can handle pulling the timing out for that low of a shot. If you decide to go higher than those shots I would advise pulling the timing as said above 2 degrees per 50 shot.

so even with my cam being 4 advanced timing i wouldnt have to pull much or any with a 100 shot? thanks

From my experience most are 4 degrees advanced. I know my 306 was as well

Im pretty sure stock timing is about 23 total advance. Correct me if im wrong. I had my car tuned at 27 total advance and sprayed a tnt 150 shot.
