Default do i have everything now?

got a basic wet kit. Nitrous Works solinoids, nozzle, lines, etc. msd timimg retard box, msd window switch, 6al box, msd coil, tr-6 plugs, good wires, purge, micro switch mounted. Sound like i got everything to be "safe"? Im getting things ready for spring time. Only thing im really missing is a FPSS and a fuel pump. Ill be sprayin a 150-200 shot at most. Any other words of advise/parts.

only thing I see is a bottle heater...with the addition of the parts you have listed will make for a good system. Just go slow when working up to the larger shot, monitor A/F and read the plugs. This will tell you if you are having any distribution issues. The spark plugs are the best way.

Yea, im gonna get one but there super expensive. Waiting to see if i can get one used. I figure id start with a 100 shot and go from there. I just have the single nozzle mounted in front of the TB. No where really else to mount it on lt1's besides a plate. Any little hints i could use while im hooking everything up?? Heres a little pic of my engine bay set up.

You might realy want to take it real slow and to remeber when your going with anything over a 100 shot you need to change your timing !! I wouldnt go above 125 without a pump especially if it has some miles on it ! I guess what i a m saying is dont go to crazy without spending some dyno time with a good tuner !!

sounds like u got it down... maybe some drop springs for that 4x4 but that is all

I know about the timing. I have a msd timing control box for the 2* for every 50 shot over 100. Im in the process of getting a pump. Whats the differance between a in-tank and in-line pump? I would assum that the intake is better cause whats the point of a external pump if the stock in-tank only pumps soo much? Just to keep the pressure up all the way?

I tapped into the underside of my intake elbow to keep the nozzle out of plain view. I'll admit the wire loom was cheesy, but at night you don't see much of anything.


If you're looking to go all the way up to a 175-200 -- then I'd most definitely look into doing a new intank pump. The inline can only be so effective. Plus you're at the point where your OE in-tank pump is 12+ years old. It wouldn't hurt to replace it. If you're still needing a FPSS I've got one I'll let go, it just needs a manifold. Shoot me a PM.
