i'd say 11:5 to 12:0 or so.well i guess it depends on how big the shot is i guess also. i'd say some people shooting something like a 100 shot may run alittle leaner.

11.8 is usually what people shoot for with nitrous.

Shots 150 and under are generally considered safe up to 12.0 maybe even 12.2 or so. A lot depends on how much timing is in the car. I lilke to pull some timing even on the smaller shots as a saftey factor, many here feel comfortable up to 150 on stock timing. Larger shots are safer at 11.0-11.5 due to the extreme cylinder pressure and greater chance of detonation.

Thanks for the replys. Right now Im seeing about 12.2ish wot with out spray and its pegging to the bottom at 10 on spray. I only sprayed a few times to make sure my nitrous was coming on and working. I still need to be tuned with my new H/C and I know Im running pretty rich. How do I get tuned to have the propper A/F on spay and with out it?

I always thought 11.5 was where you wanted your A/F to be for around 150shot. So you guys are saying to shoot for 11.8?

I shoot for 11.5-11.8 AFR on a small 150 shot. 11.5 @ max torq.

Until you get a program and log some data, I think the only thing you can do is check your fuel jet. 10s are pretty rich. Try looking at your plugs too. That will verify the AFR. Without a tuning program, you're shooting in the dark... and that's a little dangerous.

When you get your n/a tune leaned up, it will lean out your spray shots some. Your probably gonna have to go down 1-2 fuel jet sizes if you are at 10:1. Go one size at a time.

Thanks for the advice. I will look at a few plugs to see what kind of info they give me. Im not gonna spay it anymore untill I get tuned. I need to get a program so I can do some data loging. Whats the main one everyone is using.

This is a link to the sticky under tuning. Lots of good info. Both EFi and HPt work great. EFi has an "auto tune" feature now, HPt will have it very soon. Check them out.

EfiLive and HpTuners are the two popular programs. Both have similar features and costs. I've used efilive with good success, friends like hptuners as well, so either/or. Both will take some time, you'll be shocked at how many differen't parameters you can control.

I just realized that this was Paul!! How the hell are you doing. I too and worried about my A/F for my setup. I just put some 175hp jets in the car and finally installed my wideband. So I'm trying to dial it all in.

When are you supposed to dyno the car?
