Default Help me decide which way to go

Hi guys, I have a 2000 C5 coupe and am putting nitrous just for play. I was going to go with a 100 shot nozzle in the air tube just for that little extra HP. Now I'm thinking about going 2 stage 75 shots w/ 2 nozzles in the air intake tube. I'm thinking 2- 75 shots( 1 at 3500rpm 1 at 4500rpm) would be easier on the engine than the whole thing at once. I know it will take double the equipment, but if it's easier on the engine I dont mind. I will be having it tuned professionally. What do you guy think?

Take a look at these two threads. Lots of info there for you. Setting up a second stage can be added on if you wish later on . You won't be buying anything you don't need later if you get the two stage controller. Check out our vendors on here, they are always happy to help you out.

Two Stage it, Do a Dry as the first hit, and one of Daves Plates as the second hit.

In every story.. there's a good guy (ala Tony Curtis in The Great Race), and a bad guy (ala Jack Lemon).

You let me know how the Hanabal 8 is running.... and I'll be dressed in white.

Well, after reading all that I guess it depends on if my stock injectors will support a 150 dry shot? Beer, what about ,2 75 dry shots. Are you running a piggyback nos noid for positive shut off.

My Dry on the stock injectors would only support a 50 shot, 75 I went to lean...while Todd with the same size injectors was spraying a 125 with no problems. Go figure...the guy in white always has the luck!

I would recommend 42 # injectors if your gonna spray a 150 Dry in a two stage Dry combo.

Robert56 is running multiple dry stages. Hit him up also for some info.

As for redundant noids, for a stuck open nitrous noid, I would just close the bottle remotely. Being the Nitrous would be read by the MAF in that case, it would get the fuel it needs. I believe Robert56 had this happen and did not not hurt anything.
