50 dry shot help

H/C C5 here and I'm planning running a 25 or 50 dry shot. I have a couple of questions. Do I need to change the gap in my spark plugs? Do I need to pull timing?

The dry shot will pull a few degrees of timing for you, but depending on how much you added you may have to pull some more or run a higher octane fuel. You will have to run a spark plug 1 step colder and it will have a different gap then the stock heat range plugs.

dude if you run a 25 or 50 shot u wont feel anything really. i think it will be a waste of time. go with 100 or bigger.... you wont regret it.

I'm pretty much set on getting the HSW LS1 dry kit. what do I need to get as far as safety goes?

I would suggest a RPM window switch since your a M6 along a set of NGK TR6 spark plugs. If you want to get the full benfit of the nitrous pick up a bottle heater too. Our Revolution bottle heater is currently on sale @ $129.99.

I would agree with a shot a bit more than a 50. When doing my setup the dry was limited to 50 due to the injectors, and I could not feel it much if any, when I stepped up to 75/100 thats when I would feel SOTP improvement that would make me smile.

Matt @ HSW helped my out with the dry issue, he has some innovative kits and accessories and is great to work with.

I would highly recommend a bottle heater as well, if your jetted for 50 and your 400-600 PSI on a bottle, your definately going to be disappointed, and wonder if it even kicked on. Get a Window Switch and colder Plugs too.

If you think thats nice bump it up to a 200 shot and see what you think. I ran a deuce for 2 and a half years and I had no problems and that was on 91 octane!
