Default Window Switch wont read RPM

I have an MSD Digital WS. I got the yellow wire to the ground on my nitrous relay, I got the red wire going the accessory wire on my nitrous switch, the black is grounded and the white is connected to the #10 pin white wire on the ECU. It comes on and reads OFF, I got it set on 1 cylinder mode, I got my on/off rpms set. I can't figure out why it just stays at 0? Anybody got any ideas, and do I just disgard the grey wire? Thanks fellas.

Yes car was running, the digi switches have a program for COP cars such as the 4.6L Mustangs as well as the LS1 cars, so no it should NOT be on 4 cyl mode. I really don't know what to do here, is there a better tach signal I could use? I know the 99+ cxars use the #10 pin and thats what I did so I have no clue why it won't pick it up..

Well I got it to work. The connection to the tach signal was not very good, I just re connected it and it is fine. But I did have to put it in 4 cyl mode to work right. I wonder why the MSD instructions said to put it in 1 cyl mode for LS1 cars? It read half RPM's in 1 cyl mode.

Yea, it was reading 4.0-4.5k and when I switched it back to 4cyl mode it starting reading between 800-1k. I dunno why considering the instructions said the 1cyl program was designed for LS1 cars.
