Why would you care what the ricer community thinks?

Winning's winning - Doesn't matter if you car sprouted little freaking wings (out the side, not one of them 5 foot "spoilers") and flew to the finish line.

*EDIT - Damn dude ^^^^, I like the way you think! I jumped to post reply from the first page. Pretty funny how you posted damn near the same thing!

it's not just the ricer community. just dummies everywhere. you should go into the fi forum and see what some of them say. i was going to go turbo but don't have the money for it. i was in the fi forum for 5-6 months reading, then came in here and changed my mind which way i wanted to go.
they argue over there about front vs rear mount just like here dry vs wet.

if i had the money, i'd go turbo with nitrous on top but this would also come with a cost of a built motor. i'm definitely not impressed by turbo $/hp compared to nitrous $/hp. the only thing keeping me from being nitrous only for a long time, is that eventually the cost of filling bottles will catch up. i actually like driving na since i can manage most other cars in traffic stock. nitrous for open roads.

there is a $5500 twin turbo kit in the making over there. should be good up to 1k hp from the reading i did. but its sad that many are spending 6-8k and only making 420-470 hp.

if you arrange a race to go on all motor then you spray because the other guy is coming up on you then yeaa i can kinda see it cheating then ..but if you agree to go all out and not dont care to ask what i have done then you best belive im spraying (if i had it anyway) basically run what you brung unless other agrements have been discussed ..Now if im just riding around and some one pulls up by me on the highway i dont know and unknowing mods you better belive ill spray you never know when a forgred and built motor may lay ahead

I love when kids in little turbo imports say run me without your nitrous, i tell them pull over and take off your turbo. They look at me like i am nuts. You have a power adder, so do i. How is something that makes your car go faster cheating? Isnt the purpose of hooking up your car and racing it to make it as fast as possible??

The only way you can consider nitrous cheating is if your racing for money and you lie about not having it. Otherwise, its all fair game

ITS NOT CHEATING ITS NOT CHEATING ITS NOT CHEATING ITS NOT CHEATING!!!!!!!!!

My god, its just not cheating, there is no rule book that says it is, therefore it is not cheating.

This comes from the same asshats that get into a fight at a bar and get a brick smashed across the face, they then cry that the other guy cheated. NO THEY DIDNT, you cannot cheat if there is not a rule or rulebook PERIOD.

I think most of this crap with little babies crying about it is because they are simply ignorant to the facts of nitrous and really are afraid to use it. Now since they cant use use it because they are an idiot and not every single thing is laid out for them... it is cheating.

Nitrous, blower, turbo, whatever...it's all forced induction. Just because nitrous is "usually" the cheapest method, and was thought to be the most dangerous for a long time too, a lot of people want to call it cheating, I guess. As far as I'm concerned, if I'm going to spend the money on a nice nitrous setup for my car, I'm going to use it, and if some ricer bitches about it, I'll just tell him to stop hating on me because I can afford to put together a car with a decent set of nuts on it and he can't.

They are allowed to use nitrous so it's not cheating. Horsepower is horsepower no matter how you get it.
