I wired mine to the aux post in front of the fuse box, under the hood on driver side. Thats where I was told the best place for it was when I asked a month or so ago. Worked out perfect for me. I then ran the wire through the hole behind the pedals. I couldnt find the hole behind the ECU, or even get it out for that matter.

wellm, there is a few other spots.
if your looking for in the car the best is the fuse block imo, but if you have a z28 with no traction control the wiring isstill runto the switch nect to the fog light. i forget which wire it is, but one of them is switched 12v.

also 1 of the 2 ligheres have 12 v switched.

I got a few different switched sources, so as not to overload. Here's what I did:

1. Tapped a pink line at the TCS button for the +12V for the arm and heater switches

2. Ran the bottle opener +12v line to the "accy" in the fuse panel. Only negative is this isn't switched - the opener has power at all times.

3. Tapped a pink line under the steering column for the purge +12v

4. Ran my gauges and shift light off the switched source "ign" in the fuse panel.

Most of your pink lines are switched sources. I say most, because I came across one under the dash that was dead, so test them with a meter first (which I didn't do).

My system has power all the time. Not switched. That way, I can leave the heater on or operate the bottle w/o the key. My window switch is activated by my bottle opener (solenoid) swtich. The wot/fpss/window switches keep the system from spitting when the car is off.

Not mine, they both have power all the time.
