Default Nitrous newbie ?

Well guys I own a 01 Chevy corvette which I put a dry NOS Kit on. Every time I open the bottle my fuel injector #1 fuse blows out and my car start running on 7 cyl. I have no clue of what it may be. The only thing I did was add some wire from the solinoid to the relay. The wire is diffrent guage wire can that be my prob? could I have a faulty solinoid, relay?

Wire gauge isn't going to blow fuses however too small of wire and your solenoid may not work. 14-16 awg on the solenoid and don't "T" the grounds into one wire and then to ground. Terminate them both onto one ground stud.

Moving on to the problem... do you have a window sw? Where did you tap for that?
Maybe you could post your schematic you wired it to, and we can look at that.

Well I dont have a window switch. I went to Midland Performance Headquaters here in town and they told me that the jet it had was a 190 shot. He also told me that with the fuel pump trying to push so much fuel it would probably blow the fuse. He also told me that the solinoid might be sticking.
My solution was: I bought a 75 jet, bought a new NX Express solinoid. The nitrous kit is button activated, Ill probably rewire everything again.

Does it make sense what these guys told me?

if your fuel pump did pop the fuse, you wouldn't have any fuel and melt the motor. So, no.. or at least I doubt it very much. You stated only one cylinder. The solenoids are all cylinders as well as the fuel pump. Something not right there. I would check the wiring and connector at the injector you suspect and DO NOT SHOOT N2O UNTIL YOU GET IT FIGURED OUT. Melt downs are not fun.. unless you're watching Chernobyl.

Well like I stated ^. I bought my new solinoid and the new jet. I will strip everything apart again and rewire everything. I'll let you know if it solved my problem. Thanks again
