4000stall + nitrous?
I have a YankSS4000... I heard that you really couldn't use nitrous off a launch with it. Is this true? I was wanting to do a 100shot, will it be useless (Im not talking about traction, Im refering to it blowing through the verter). Thanks!

PM me plz.. I have a PTC 4400 and it flashes about 4900 on the motor and on the nitrous it gets up there around 5400 or a little more. I just think that it limits me, I cant go throught the 1/4 on the nitrous due to the fact that I hit the limiter at 6800 about 1100 ft or so. But I love the launch on the nitrous. 1.40, 60' on a 125 shot with the 402.
It will work with that converter.
The downside to high stall converters(especially cheap ones) with N20 is that you don't need as much stall as the N20 has such a NICE torque gain that could be taken advantage of with a tighter converter.
Secondly as stated above N20 can make the motor power through the converter and raise the stall/flash speed of the converter to to high of an RPM where it is no longer efficient.
