Those 305 Were Not Great Motors. Do Not Spray Very Much. Ls1's You Can Go 125 With No Problems On A Stock Motor.

well. its strange, i frequent thirdgen.org a lot and a lot of guys have nitrous and whatnot, but uh.. a guy local to me just sprayed his 91 rs 305 tbi with a 150 shot. lol.

car has a t56, 4.10 gears, small cam, headers, and the 150 shot and ran a 8.03 in the 1/8th and est 12.52 1/4th. i forget the mileage but i Want to say like 100 even? or am i just making **** up. lol..

yea anyways, ill search.

basically i was looking for pics of what people did with there solenoids, i want to mount mine in a plastic box or something to keep them clean and whatnot.

peace!

well first off id like to say that i sprayed 150 shot on my TPI 305 and it took it like a champ, probably 5-6 bottles went through it. Secondly if you bought the dual nozzle kit and you are running TBI, you just wasted you're money. you need a plate kit for that as theres nothing for the nozzle to go on, and even if you fabbed the brackets to hold the nozzle in, you would have to remove all the likes to take the air cleaner off everytime. Secondly the injector pods will be blocking the nozzles from spraying correctly. So my advice to you is to send that kit back, or just but a Plate from Nitrous works or NOS (the only two that im aware of that sells them for TBI setups) and use you're kit with thier plate. sorry for the bad news, probably shoulda researched it first.

explain to me again why my forthcoming dual nozzle kit will not work?

and if that fails. then i can tap into the manifold (it is separated left and right, just like the throttle butterflies, and i can tape and thread them right into the manifold facing down.

it will work.

Looks like a good setup! A 305 TBI or TPI will handle a 150 shot easily, if you take out some timing and run good fuel. With that much shot I would also recomend you get a FPSS to keep tabs on the fuel pressure

My friends TBI dropped 1.5 secs in the 1/8th on a 125 shot.

On my 86 Iroc I mounted the swithes in the ashtray(made a switch panel), the bottle was under the speakers in the hatch, and mouted the 'noids on the passenger side strut.

This video shows some of my mounting locations. The dragstrip run was a 100 shot and the street run was a 150......
