What wide band works best with the hp tuner?

i am using this as a safty, so im looking fo r something small and compact. i probably wont be using it much. i will log tho, just want to be able to look back ect. see where its lean/rich ect.
i dont want that big *** box like roberts, even if it works the very best, no affence but man its ugly/bulky as anything
