Building A 408 What Cam?

Building A 408 What Cam? Just getting ready to build a 408. Im going to use my same heads 11-1 comp. and just wanted to know what cam would work the best with F2 KIT spraying a 250 shot or more. I didnt know if there was a good cam out there or if you guys would recomend a custom grind cam and what size. Set up with be a t400 with 373 gears. thanks

Just get a nice aggressive cam your happy with for n/a needs. unless your NHRA bound or a dedicated bracket car, a dedicated nitrous cam is not needed. I am thinking about the MS 4 cam for my 408, and I'll be spraying 300 also. A nitrous cam will allow the nitorus to be more effective, but at the hinderence of n/a power.

My cam is a 236/242 608/612 on a 115. Its all about what you want to run for the most part. I went for a more spray freindly cam as you can see with the 115 you can get a ms3 or ms4 on whatever lsa you want from comp cams. They use standard comp catalog lobes on tsp's cams.

Havent really even driven the truck with new motor.. But heres a 408 iron block, 10:1 CR, with an ms3 and open cutout, incase you wanted to see what an ms3 sounds like in a 408 since some guys here suggested it. Its a 113LSA as well.
