Default Weber Racing Equipment Short Block Specials!!

I know we are new here, so I will give you guys a little background. We are Weber Racing Equipment. Weber Racing was established in 1968, giving us over 35 years of engine building and racing experience.

The Weber Racing Equipment Dragster consists of a 465 CI Allen Johnson Block and Heads (Based on a BBC), that spins over 10,000 RPM, 60 pounds of boost is delivered via a PSI Twin Screw All 2500+ HP is rowed through a Lenko 3 Speed!!!!! Oh yea..........it runs 5.50 @ 255 MPH

We have been one of the premier engine builders for some of the worlds fastest Turbo Buick V6's for many years. We even pioneered the Billet Hyd. Roller cam for Buick's and are the only company that sells hydraulic rollers that do not require engine block modification for installation. If you would like, please feel free to do a search on Turbobuick.com (or any other buick V6 message board you can think of) to see the reviews we have received in the Buick community.

WRE 370 CI Stage 1 Short Block : $2850

New 6.0L GM Iron Block
Polished GM 6.0L Crankshaft
K1 Technologies 4340 H-Beam Connecting Rods (K1 is a subsidiary of Carrillo)
Wiseco -2cc Nitrous Compatible Turbo Duty Pistons w/ Wiseco std. tension rings
Coated Durabond Cam, Main and Rod Bearings
Engine will be:
  • CNC Bored and Honed with torque plate for a precision ring finish
  • Align honed
  • CNC Square Decked
  • All main caps deburred
  • Jet washed prior to assembly
  • Blueprinted and Balanced (Tolerance sheet provided with every engine we
    assemble)
  • Assembled in our clean, dedicated, engine assembly room.

Even though these are new blocks, we have seen many imperfections. Especially in the deck, not giving a perfect head mating surface. We have seen factory blocks off by as much as .009. This makes the square deck and line hone crucial to component functionality and longevity.

WRE 408 CI Stage 1 Short Block : $3450

Same features at the 370 CI engine listed above with the exception of:
K1 Technologies 4340 Forged 4.000 Stroker crankshaft
Wiseco -8cc Stroker Nitrous Compatible pistons

Both engine packages can be tailored to fit your needs please inquire with any questions you may have.

We are also extending this sale to all engine upgrades:
  • ARP Main and head studs
  • Piston Coating
  • Custom pistons
  • Pin upgrades
  • Upgraded crankshafts by Callies
  • LS2 Aluminum Block upgrade
  • Cylinder head O-Ringing is available
  • Main Cap Dowels also available
  • Special pricing on all gasket kits, valve train and cylinder heads.

Weber Racing Equipment is also an authorized dealer Acceleronics impedance converter boxes.
For those of you not familiar on what an impedance converter does. It is simply a box that splices in your wiring harness between your injectors and your engine computer. This gives you the ability to run the big, low impedance injectors on your factory computer and eliminates the need for expensive stand alone engine controllers.

We are offering the Acceleronics Boxes at a sale price of $375
. This includes shipping anywhere in the continental united states.

We are also offering discounted pricing on all Precision Turbo and Engine products. Anything from injectors, wastegates, to big thumpers it is all on sale.

For special pricing, custom work or any questions you may have please post it up, shoot a PM, Send an email or give us a call at 440-327-7702.

For those who need engine or any other accessory installed we do offer full installation and tuning services!!!!

no problem. like i said, heard good things.

just a little fyi, take it for what its worth. but us ls guys are hard to convince.
we have alot of sponsors that build good motors. without proof that you can make power with an lsx style motor its going to be hard sales.
you need a shop car or a friends car or someone to work with you to get your motor into a car and prove it. then with the great price and proof. you will be good to go.

let me know if i can help. i already have my motor ect, but i know tons of ls guys that i could work with you with.
good luck for sure.

Ohh we have a hell of a motor hitting the track by the end of this month. It is a board member who I will not reveal his name yet as I don't think he wants anyone to know yet.
A little heads up on the setup:
403 CI LS2 12.1:1
- Compstar crank
- K1 Rods
- Wiseco Custom Pistons
Trickflow 225cc heads
Vengeance Racing custom grind 256/262 (Thanks Ron!)

Rossler TH400 w/trans brake
12 bolt and all the other goodies needed for a track car

3300 lb raceweight

We are really hoping to see low 10's if not high 9's on motor. The only hold up right now is waiting on the headers to be made. I really think that car will help us out alot.

I know how all of us LS guys are. Im not new to this scene. I am Leo the former owner of GMR Speed. Brian Weber brought me in to finally get these guys the internet exposure they deserve!
They have been so successful for so long mainly by word of mouth. It is really time to share to excellence that comes out of this shop with the rest of the world

Anyone you can send this way is greatly appreciated so tell em to give me a call. Thanks agian! Your support is greatly appreciated.

Should depend on the pistons and the rings. I'd say 250-300

A 250 -300 shot would not be a problem with this setup as long as IT IS TUNED PROPERLY and there is NO detonation. With a proper tune I would even feel confident to say these can go to a 350 shot, but would not highly recommend it and would really, at that point, look into a custom piston.

The prices for the 346 or 382 are more expensive due to the price of the block. If you wanted to do a 346, add $625 to the price of the 370 CI package. If you wanted a 382 add $635 to the 408 package. I know it seems off, but we only use brand new, not surplus blocks straight from the General. You can save money if you wanted to use a core engine or send yours in. If you would like you can PM ME with the details of what you are looking for and I am sure we can work something out.
