No, a scuba tank won't have a diptube. You'll just be releasing gaseous (not liquid) nitrous using a bottle like that.

Liquid carbon dioxide bottles comes with siphon tubes so you might find one of those siphon withdrawal setups from a gas supply house

I did it for a couple years in my 92z. Went to napa and bought some brake line and made a siphon tube. Make sure you bend it right though. All i had was a scuba bottle, NOS powershot solenoid w/no pill, nozzle in front of throttle body and a WOT swtich. Kit hit HARD too This was a little 305 that pissed off ALOT of LS1 cars back in 98/99. Motor is still together although i dont drive it anymore.

Thumbs down tanks

i wouldn't fill a scuba tank with nitrous. these cylinders are made for a purpose. not that it won't hold the pressure, but thats how people get hurt, messing around with stuff that ain't made for it. nitrous outlets won't fill it because it ain't made for it. use the right stuff and be safe, this is high pressure stuff you fooling with here.......................my 2 c...RON

If your into looking @ alternative tanks you could check into nitrogen tanks (like for paintball) 68c.u is a pretty standard size.. and all are rated at a minimum of 3000 psi.. some go to 5000. Idk what you'de be saving in the long run though since they're all carbon fibre and about 200 bux. Just an option

Any compressed gas tank rated for 3000psi willl work. But you need a valve with a dip tube, otherwise you'll never get the liquid out.

Heres the deal, ron williams said it best.

Bottles have a reason to be used, and a place for, not only are you in danger, but anyone that is stupid enough to fill a NON nitrous bottle with nitrous is just asking for it.
Nitrous bottles are oxygen cleaned, and are put together complete with NON flamable products. ANY oil or flamable media inside a tank, could cause someone to have a very bad day.
NUT up spend the money and do things right.
