I'm planning on using nitrous on a few different cars and I was wanting to use a high octane unleaded fuel just for a little protection against detonation. What race gas or additive do you guys suggest? I want something that can be run in everything from the late model daily driver to the pure track car. I was considering Torco Race Fuel Concentrate or VP C10, but I've heard of Toluene being used too. This is basically for nitrous cars, but I may put it in a few hopped up N/A cars too. Any suggestions + reasoning would be appreciated. Thanks.

I run Torco 116 nos fuel so i dont have to retard timing on a 300 shot .

The 116 is in a stand alone fuel cell and 93 octain in the tank .

 

WHAT? You run a 300 shot with full NA timing? That's crazy...how much timing are we talkin' here? 28-29 degrees?

 

I can run a 2 stage 300 on 25 degrees but anything over that i have to pull timing .

Now that i can spray over that i need to get a seperate tune and colder plugs.
