Default 125 wet shot on ls1

I have a 99 ws6 ram air trans am and am beginning to modify it. I already have an exhaust and lid and high flow k&n filter. I will be getting pacesetter long tube headers and a vig 3600 torque converter. My question to you is should i go with a 125hp wet shot in my car? my car has only 20k miles on it and i dont want to hurt the motor. I wont be using the nitrous barely at all, just maybe once or twice at the track every other month. Will this wet system hurt my car that bad if i use it very sparingly? how much time will it save me off my 1/4 mile time?

If set up properly the nitrous wont hurt your car on a 125 shot. As far as 1/4 mile times should knock off 1 -1.2 off your times if you can get the tires to stick.

got with 150!!!!!!! all you need is a new fuel pump, i would look into a window switch, and then your basic heater and all that to run full potential and youll be fine with 150. this weekend i think i am going to attempt to set mine up b/c ive been so god damn busy i havent had time. but yeah 150 i say

371 rwhp on motor and 497 rwhp on spray and that is through a 4.10 geared 12 bolt with the 150 shot. I'm still waiting on track numbers since my clutch was slipping quite a bit the last time i went out but I did trap 122mph on spray.

Spray it and enjoy it! I've been spraying a 125 for a while and about to jet up to a 150. Just make sure you do it right and get all the safety stuff, I really reccomend a wideband if you can afford one.

so with having 393 rwhp is a 150 shot to much? I just have the MS4 with 111 LSA and long tubes and lid is about it. Oh yea, and the Walbro 255.

Get some tr6 spark plugs, good tune, and a window switch and hit it with 150...you will be ok on stock pump, but upgrade it if your worried about it. Good rule of thumb is for every 10rwhp is a tenth so look for 1.25 sec on a 125 shot and 12.5mph over n/a. Good luck

Nah, just have a conservative tune and everything will be fine...except your rear tires.
