Default a newbie and nitrous

Hey guys, I have never used nitrous but I just ordered the LS6 cam and plan to use a dry 100 shot. How dangerous is it for someone like me to use a dry kit like the nx kit that goes up to 150 or the NOS 5177 kit? Can you give me any advice on accessory parts that will possibly save my motor? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

If you have an M6, it would be good to have a window switch. If A4, you really don't need anything that the kit doesn't already come with. As far as dangerous to run a 100 dry shot. No, it's not dangerous. Just try to read your A/F ratio before you spray it to make sure it's good. Also, you should buy some NGK TR6 plugs for nitrous use.

Thanks for the info. I have an A4 with a 3500 stall verter. What should I have my AF @ during spray time?

You still need an arming switch so dont turn it on until you leave the line, problem solved with that much stall.

While driving an auto, that wont be a problem
