Has anyone managed to put a 15lb bottle in the spare tire well/quarter panel of an Fbody? if so did you have to alter or mod anything? any imput would be greatful thanks

I have but nothing too specific on a 15lb bottle in the spare tire well. i see a lot of 10lbs in there, and the 15lbers are mounted mostly on the back deck and t-top area. i just wanted anyones imput on what they had to alter to fit the (860) bracket holder and bottle. mabe i overlooked the few that are bc there is like 20k repleys to try to browse though.

yes we have 2 cars that way the plastic won't sit all the way down but if you hit the bottom with the hammer some to let the arch of the bottle go down like 1 " you could put the plastic back on.

I put a 15lb NX bottle on a 860 heater bracket and it mounted fine but I had to use 90 degree fitting to hook into the bottle.

wow this took a 5 second search, maybe it wasn't working for you though, I know at past 12 at night I can't search for anything...and the see all post by button on peoples profiles sends me to an unrelated google search...
