nos with a converter

Default nos with a converter

just curious if a converter effects the use of nos.

I would just do 3500 or smaller. If you go to a higher stall you will just be spraying through your power band.

I'm running an OLD Yank 4000 converter (ST series) and spraying a 150 shot. The SS series Yank will be better if you're going to spray. I would stay with the 3600 that you have now. I didn't have any issues on the 100 shot. When I went up to the 150 shot I would hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift. Took the car back to Jeremy F and I haven't had any more issues. He lowered the shift point and bumped up the rev limiter.

I have a 3600 vig and it flashes to 4200 on a 125 shot with 4.11 gears. Traction has been my only problem this year.
