Default explain this?

my buddy has a 1997 trans am with a nitrous kit called "nitrous in a bag" its made by compucar and is a "DRY" setup. this systemj works fairly well under a low horsepower shot, but at say 100 shot it "BOGS" the car down. allmost as if it was flooding the car. He can spray this car at about the 60 foot mark and its ok under about 60 to 80 shot. But there is now way to spray it off the lione without it "Bogging" down. what can we do to fix this problem?

this kit sprays in front of the MAF sensor also, we just simply ran the line in the airbox

i sprayed a 50 shot too far away from the maf and my afr was 19+, probably more since i don't log past 20 afr. anyway, i wouldn't doubt the car going crazy lean because i was bogging when it happened to me. the car felt like dieing on a 50-60 roll when i sprayed too far from the maf.
"simply ran the line in the airbox" doesn't sound good. nozzle location makes a huge difference. maybe the low shots felt good but aren't healthy for the motor then the 100 tells you that something is wrong.
