does the gauge get the power from the box then? There is a female plug on the gauge that is wrapped up, what does that go to or do I leave it wrapped up?

I used the black and red wire to run power to the unit. Grey wire still in box.

I havent had luck getting mine completed either. I read the instructions, but it said not to use the wire thats not attached to the white plug if you were using it for gasoline. So, I taped the end of it and left it. The only thing I have in the white plug is the one it came with.

Then I wired the black/red wires to a ground and power source in the car, and plugged it in to the far left. I turned the key forward and nothing came on. The only thing I have differently than the pics above that I know of, is one less wire in the white plug.

Can someone help me get squared away?

there is going to be a slight delay before you get a reading on your gauge as the wideband warms up and all. Thought I read somewhere it was like 45 seconds or something. Maybe give it some more time to activate

Yeah, I read that, but, there's nothing coming up on the gauge at all.

You have to use both wires for WB use. I think it said you did not have to ground. Make sure it is in the diagonal.

This is looking from the back of the plug.

Ok, so the reason mine isn't working is because it blew a fuse in the car when I turned the key on. And.... the reason it blew a fuse, is because somehow a bad batch of power cords got out, and, lucky me, I have one

I called PLX and the technical support guy was very nice and helpful. He is shipping me out a new one asap, and apoligized for the inconvienance. I'll let you guys know how it all turns out once the new power cord get's here.

no you don't. as the instructions say, the other wire is for lambda readings. i am not using the second wire, or the gray wire on mine. the instructions are kind of difficult to follow. so, i called and had it up and going in two minutes.

Yea I was wondering about the NB setup as well. I probably will just delete the code, but would be nice to know.

Also where to tap into the setup in order to run a wire for hptuners and such.
